OQ Base Industries (SFZ) SAOG (OQBI) is OQ's methanol, ammonia and LPG company, based in the Salalah Free Zone and established on 27 February 2006 according to its Muscat Stock Exchange profile. Gulf News reported in December 2024 that OQ floated 49% of its shares on the exchange and would retain the remaining 51%, and described it as Oman's sole integrated producer of methanol, ammonia and LPG. Its audited 2025 consolidated statements, filed on the exchange and approved by the board on 17 February 2026, give revenue of RO 226.0 million (2024: RO 234.8 million) and profit attributable to shareholders of RO 47.7 million (2024: RO 40.4 million). The exchange profile names Ali Mohamed Redha Al Lawati as chairman.
